Description
US Children Survey 1975
This is data from a study sponsored by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and contains anthropometric data on 3900 infants and children representative of the current U.S. population ranging in age from newborn to 12 years of age. It is reported in “Physical Characteristics of Children as Related to Death & Injury for Consumer Product Safety Design” by Snyder et al 1975. There are just under 100 measurements and numerous demographic variables. While there is a total of 3900 subjects, there is a lot of missing data, presumably because it is difficult to measure young children.
